Making his highly anticipated return to Broadway, Darren Criss, recognized with Emmy and Golden Globe Awards, joins Helen J Shen in the delightful new romantic musical comedy "Maybe Happy Ending" with its previews at the Belasco Theatre on October 16, 2024.

The upcoming musical is set to have its grand opening on November 12, 2024.

Criss said in an interview about his latest Broadway venture last month, "I think people think this is going to be a small, cute little show about robots in the future."

"This is a balls-to-the-wall spectacle in the way that in the 80s, we had Miss Saigon and The Phantom of the Opera-- these huge, theatrical spectacles that like, when you went to the theatre it was like, 'Whoa, how did they do that?'"

According to its logline, "Inside a one-room apartment on the outskirts of Seoul, Oliver lives a happily quiet life, listening to jazz records and caring for his favorite plant. But what else is there to do when you're a Helperbot 3, a robot that has long been retired and considered obsolete?"

"When his fellow Helperbot neighbor Claire asks to borrow his charger, what starts as an awkward encounter leads to a unique friendship, a surprising adventure, and maybe even...love?"

Five songs from the musical's soundtrack have also been recently released, featuring the music composed by Will Aronson and the lyrics penned by Hue Park. Aronson and Park also worked together to create the musical's book.

Michael Arden is directing the Broadway production of the show, which originally debuted in Korean in Seoul back in 2016.
