Liza Minnelli joins production team of "Drag: The Musical"
The show is currently being previewed at New World Stages and is scheduled to debut on October 21, 2023.
This marks Minnelli's first venture into producing a full-length musical, though she is well-known for her performances on stage and screen.

Co-created by Alaska Thunderf**k, Tomas Costanza, and Ashley Gordon, this musical will feature a talented ensemble cast led by Alaska and supported by Luxx Noir London, Jan Sport, and Jujubee, all Drag Race personalities.

Minnelli, a certified gay icon, is going on a career shift that aligns perfectly with her previous interactions with the vibrant world of drag.
Having been featured in the iconic Snatch Game challenge on "Drag Race" multiple times, Minnelli's character has been brought to life by talented performers on numerous occasions.
Notably, these portrayals have not only captured the essence of the EGOT winner but have also emerged victorious in the challenge.
