Charli D'Amelio is making her debut on Broadway.
The social media influencer who rose to fame on TikTok back in 2020, is set to grace the Broadway production "& Juliet," and will play the role of Charmian, a character that producers have labeled "a dance-heavy ensemble part."
"& Juliet" will start its run on October 29, 2024 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre for a brief three-month stint until January 19, 2025.
In a statement via Variety, D'Amelio shared excitement about stepping onto the Broadway stage for the first time.
"To be able to make my Broadway debut – especially in the cast of '& Juliet' — is truly a dream come true, and I can't wait to share this experience with everyone."
"& Juliet" debuted in 2022 at the Sondheim Theatre. The innovative musical, featuring the music of Swedish hitmaker Max Martin, received nine Tony award nominations, with a notable nod for best musical.
According to THR, some hit songs will be featured in the production, which include "Since U Been Gone," "Roar," "I Want It That Way", and "Confident."
