It has been a big couple of weeks for Kate Gosselin and estranged husband Jon Gosselin. Kate recently recapped her time with Kate Plus 8, while Jon has been generating press for more depressing reasons. Court documents recently revealed that Jon Gosselin was sued for fraud-related theft from a former company...and now the former-reality star owes a million dollars to a tech company.
Hopefully Jon Gosselin's new career as a celebrity (?) DJ will work out better than his stint with Securus.
While at the company, which assists with electronic processing, Jon may not have been the best of employees. TMZ tells readers that Jon was recently fined $1,000,000 for reportedly assisting the enemy:
"Jon worked for Securus, which sells electronic payment processing systems to merchants. It's the thing that attaches to iPhones to accept credit cards...So Jon was a sales manager who was supposed to go out in the field and hawk the product. Instead, Securus claims he was a Benedict Arnold, convincing merchants to abandon the company for a competing company he was secretly helping."
The Season 3 finale of Kate Plus 8 recently aired, and Kate spent most of the episode recapping her family's time on the TLC channel.
Although many of the clips stemmed from past seasons and featured her then-husband Jon Gosselin, Kate spoke favorably of her time on the small screen.
Penn Live recapped a number of Kate's popular moments from the show, which include:
- "When her six youngest children were just 2 1/2 pound newborns.
- When she had a meltdown on a plane with eight children.
- When she got a tummy tuck following the birth of the sextuplets.
- When the family got two puppies, gave them back to the breeder and then went back for Shoka later."
