Channing Tatum Talks Waxing for ‘Magic Mike XXL’ on Ellen DeGeneres TV Show after Ginuwine Dance-Off Challenge [VIDEO NEWS]

Channing Tatum admitted on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show that when he gets in Magic Mike XXL shape it requires a whole lot more than just cardio and pushups. According to the latest gossip news updates, Jenna Dewan's husband had to wax himself smooth as a billiard ball to make sure he had just the right bi-sexual stripper shine for the movie's oiled up dance scenes. While 90s rapper Ginuwine didn't mention anything about a potential wax-off, the 44-year-old "Pony" performer did insist that he could beat Jonah Hill's sidekick in a move-for-more dance contest -- just as long there were a one or two rules.

Not only does Channing Tatum have to write and star in Magic Mike XXL, he apparently has to make sure 90 percent of his body is newborn-smooth before everyone shows up to start taking their clothes off as well.

The former stripper explained during a recent visit to Ellen that he vowed he would never again subject himself to such torture following the completion of the first Magic Mike flick, but somehow, someway he found himself once again screaming and shouting like he was Steve Carell in 40 Year Old Virgin (via Us Weekly):

"I waxed last time, and I promised myself I was not going to do it again.

"And then Matt Bomer goes, 'No, no, you just didn't have the right lady. She just wasn't doing it right.'

"And then I went again, and it sucked just as bad."

According to Tatum his hair removal technician informed him that he was genetically predisposed to feel each and every little hair getting wrenched from its home:

"After they started, they said, 'Oh, you're ginger' -- I have a little red in there -- and they were like, 'It's always the worst for them.

"And I'm like, 'Then why did you start? Why didn't you tell me this beforehand?'"

While popular 90s artist Ginuwine probably doesn't want to compare lap time with the now dolphin like Tatum, he did claim that he could out dance the Step Up franchise star -- given a few caveats (via Hollywood Reporter):

"I believe I inspired him...Back in the day, when 'Pony' came out, I don't believe there was anyone that could dance like me.

"Now, it's harder to say, but as long as Channing stays on his feet, I believe I could take him.

"If he starts flipping, no way."

Well, one thing is for certain...neither one of them are going to be able to out-dace Ellen.
