Nicki Minaj Dating Boyfriend Meek Mill after Safaree Samuels Split: Talks Retiring from Rap [GOSSIP NEWS]

While Nicki Minaj's career seemed to be on a real upswing last year following her major motion picture debut in The Other Woman and the release of her third studio album, 'The Pinkprint,' the Instagram booty model's personal life suffered a real set back when her 11-year romance with Safaree Samuales abruptly came to an end. According to the latest gossip news updates, Nicki has already moved on since the split, however, and is now dating rapper/trouble maker Meek Mill. The "Anaconda" sex symbol still isn't referring to Meek as her boyfriend but has admitted that they have been spending an awful lot of time together lately.

Many of Nicki Minaj's fans were shocked when the "Super Bass" performer broke up with her longtime boyfriend Safaree Samuels last year after dating the rapper for more than 11-years.

Word has it that Nicki has since moved on from her he unfaithful ex to new bad boy boyfriend Meek Mill.

In a recent interview with Vogue magazine, Minaj wouldn't exactly call what they've been doing together dating but did admit to spending plenty of quality time with Meek in recent weeks:

"Sometimes we hang out, and when we hang out, we have fun. [laughs]

"This is what I want to say about him: People think for some strange reason that we just started becoming friends recently.

"We've been friends for a very, very long time, and he's been around for a lot of things that I've gone through...And that's all I'll say about that."

A source close to Minaj explains in the February 23, issue of Star Magazine ,that Nicki is definitely all about Meek Mill right now but is trying to slow things down just a little bit for the time being:

"He's rough around the edges and thinks he has what it takes to keep up with her...[but] Nicki's keeping Meek at arm's length for now.

"She doesn't want to rush it."

While Nicki may have shied away from delving into the topic of her relationship with Meek too deeply during her Vogue interview, Minaj didn't mind talking about wanting to retire from the rap game by the time she was 50:

"I want to be traveling the world at that time with my children and enjoying life.

"There's a level of criticism that comes with being a musician in today's world, especially with social media, that I don't want to be a part of when I'm 50 years old."

Yeah...don't believe that until you see it and then see it twice.
