After Alex Gustaffson Fight and Cocaine Scandal, Jon Jones to Fight Anthony Johnson and NFL Charity FIghts

Over the years, a Jon Jones' defeat has transformed into something more rare than a unicorn. At UFC 165, many argued that Alexander Gustaffson had landed more significant blows and was cheated out of a victory. In recent news, Alexander lost his chance at a rematch when league up-and-comer Anthony "Rumble" Johnson powered through the Swede. Now, Johnson has earned his chance at the belt. On a lighter note, it looks like Jones might be facing off against his New England Patriot brother in a charity fight.

Jones got his first fight in the UFC during August of 2008. He took the fight on short notice, but Jones' performance in that fight looked like he had been performing for months. Jon, in turn, took home his first victory with a unanimous judges decision.

In 2009, Jones acquired his one loss to date when he was disqualified from his fight with Matt Hamill in the Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights Finale. Since then, Jones has taken on many respectable opponents, but, in the end, he earned his spot at the top of the food chain.

True, UFC 165 was controversial, and it was the first time fans really saw Jon falter. However, that fight still does not feel as threating to Jon's career as his next fight does.

According to the NY Post, Jon's drug use and Gustaffson fight pale in comparison to his upcoming title defense against Anthony "Rumble" Johnson:

"Days after Jon Jones was revealed to have tested positive for cocaine and lost his Nike sponsorship, a new problem as emerged for UFC's most renowned champion. Anthony "Rumble" Johnson has earned a shot at his light heavyweight belt...after his performance against Alexander Gustaffson in Sweden on Saturday night. This is the same Gustaffson who took Jones to the brink of defeat back at UFC 165, in a fight many thought Jones lost."

This isn't the only fight that Jon has coming up on his schedule. According to TMZ Sports, the champ might face off against his NFL star brother in a charity bout:

"UFC champ Jon Jones is being CALLED OUT by his own brother -- NFL star Chandler Jones -- who [says] he's 100% confident he could beat his ass. 'Me and my brother used to fight all the time when we were young...and I'm pretty sure I can take him down now. I am way bigger than he is,' Chandler tells us. Chandler is dead serious...and says he wants to set up a fight for charity."
