Time for more breaking news in the case of Bill Montag, father of reality TV star Heidi Montag. Heidi's dad was recently arrested over alleged child abuse and incest charges. Now a new report suggests that Bill has already lost his wife over the arrest.
It's lonely at the top, but, as it turns out, it is WAY lonelier at the bottom. This is a lesson that Bill Montag is reportedly learning the hard way.
After Mr. Montag was arrested for incest/sexual child abuse, Daily Mail tells readers that Bill's family abandoned him:
"Bill Montag, father of reality star Heidi Montag, has been abandoned by his family following his arrest in Colorado...Nobody visited the 67-year-old on Sunday at Pitkin County Jail as it's feared his wife Terri has fled town, leaving concerned neighbors to take care of their two dogs...his 'life is in ruins' even if he's found innocent on charges of sexual assault on a child and incest."
In case you aren't up to speed, Mr. Montag was arrested in Aspen, Colorado last week on some pretty severe charges.
According to E! Online, the police report includes allegations that Bill Montag sexually assaulted a minor (and family member), from the ages of 13 - 17:
"Bill Montag...has been arrested...on charges of child sex abuse and incest after the alleged victim came forward, according to Denver's Channel 9 News...Per the station, a 29-page affidavit alleges that Montag inflicted years of abuse on a girl starting when she was 13 and continuing till she was 17..."
