UPDATE: Joyce DiDonato's #JoyceAndMe Fan Project Now Has an Album Title [VIDEO]

If Joyce DiDonato wasn't one of Classicalite's favorite mezzo-sopranos before, well, she certainly is now.

Last week, we told you that DiDonato had launched a crowd-sourced campaign allowing fans--just like you and us--to choose the title, tracklisting and cover/liners for her upcoming Greatest Hits compilation.

Week One was all about the title; here was Classicalite's ballot, then:

And now, according to The Yankee Diva, herself, the winner from Week One is...

Yes, indeed, both Alex Ross and Logan Young got it right--ReJoyce it is, for sure.

As for Week Two's tracklisting contest, Ms. DiDonato isn't wasting any time. In fact, she's already tweeted information regarding this next phase of #JoyceAndMe.

There are a few caveats, however.

Alas, selections from Joyce DiDonato's many DVDs are not eligible for inclusion. Also, there will be a few special, previously unreleased tracks (to be revealed later, of course).

Finally, as Joyce notes, "I have a few 'absolutes' I'd like to include."

"But the rest," she says, "is up for grabs!"

The Joyce DiDonato Best Of will be a 2-CD set. Each CD will contain 79 minutes (or less) from the following EMI/Virgin recordings:

Midsummer Night's Dream
Amor e Gelosia
Benvenuto Cellini
Radamisto
Furore
Colbran: Rossini's Muse
Ariodante
Lamenti
Ercole su'l Termodonte
Rossini's Stabat Mater
Diva/Divo
Drama Queens
Dead Man Walking
John Wilson: Rogers and Hammerstein at the Movies

Check back with Classicalite later this week, when we'll share our #JoyceAndMe tracklisting. After all, we have to keep our streak going!
