When it was widely reported last October that Episodes actor Matt Leblanc was seen cheating on his girlfriend, Andrea Anders, who was one of LeBlanc's co-stars on Joey, he went out of his way to deny the stories, but now it seems that Anders might not have believed his explanation. According to the latest gossip news updates, Matt and his longtime love have broken up. While no one is blaming the Halloween scandal outright, the circumstances surrounding the split don't sound all that different than those surrounding his divorce -- only this time he doesn't have to worry about losing a sizable chuck of his Friends net worth.
Back in November, Matt Leblanc did his best to combat the reports in Life & Style Magazine that he has been a very naughty boy during a Halloween party without his girlfriend:
"He proceeded to make with one woman and then the other before ordering the pair to lock lips with each other!"
A few weeks after rumors of Matt's cheating had been bouncing around the Friends actor was quoted in Star Magazine's December 1, issue as insisting the reports were completely fabricated:
"The reports that I was cheating on my girl are absolutely not true.
"I took some picture with some people...I was being polite.
"There was nothing more to it than that.
"It didn't happen...It's ridiculous."
According to a recent report by People, it looks like Matt was only able to convince Andrea to keep their breakup quiet for a few weeks following the cheating scandal:
"Matt LeBlanc and Andrea Anders have ended their relationship after eight years together.
"The Golden Globe winner, 47, and the actress, 39, parted way several months ago."
Well...at least everyone now knows that Joey still has a way with the ladies...even if he doesn't have a girlfriend.
