Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes Engaged? Breakup Rumors Wane After New Baby Birth

Rumors are once again flying that Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes could be engaged. These latest claims are likely a welcome relief from the months of breakup rumors which led up to the birth of the couple's new baby.

It's no secret that Ryan and Eva have been battling breakup rumors for over a year now. Even after the birth of baby Esmeralda, the tabloids continued to report that Eva and Ryan were going to part ways.

Though the couple may not have any plans to breakup, one source tells E! News that Eva and Ryan don't really have plans to get married either:

"[Eva and Ryan] think the tabloid reports about trouble are ridiculous...they just roll their eyes, they honestly don't care... Neither felt the need to get married, it's just not a huge priority for either of them. They know what they have...Ryan and Eva are super-super-private."

For someone who enjoys privacy as much as Ryan Gosling, the heartthrob actor is likely livid at the hackers who released his personal emails as part of their attack on Sony.

The attacks, which led to Sony pulling the film The Interview from major distribution channels, also revealed some of Ryan's major interests - including the creation of an all-woman Ghostbusters reboot.

At least Ryan seemed to get along with Amy Pascal much better than his co-workers, as Daily Beast details their love fest:

"A lengthy email exchange between Amy Pascal, co-chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Ilene Feldman, a talent manager who represents Ryan Gosling, details the exec and star's lovey-dovey relationship. In an email dated October 3, 2014, Feldman wrote to Pascal: 'Ryan absolutely loved you. Said it was like speed dating because he was late after hitting every wrong gate on the lot. Not it should turn to marriage. He really wants to do something with you.'"
