The tabloids have have been relentless in recent months regarding Channing Tatum's marriage to Witches of East End wife, Jenna Dewan -- often insisting the pair are near divorce. According to the latest gossip news updates, not only did the couple look as happy as ever walking the red carpet at the 2015 Golden Globes, the Hollywood hot couple often post loving pics to their Instagram to seemingly combat the breakup rumors. The Magic Mike bi-sexual stripper is at the award show with his beautiful wife tonight, because his latest film Foxcatcher has been nominated for Best Motion Picture, Drama. While Channing wasn't nominated for his performance specifically, like his co-stars, Steve Carrell and Mark Ruffalo, it wasn't due to a lack of effort. L.A. is full of actors that have lost weight for a role, but Tatum has to be among the few that dropped 15-pounds for a part in a single day.
It would seem that Channing Tatum's meteoric rise to fame and fortune in Hollywood has made his marriage to Jenna Dewan a target of many an internet tabloid, but it doesn't seem to really be affecting the couple.
On top of looking absolutely smitten with each other whenever they are in public, Jenna often posts heartwarming picture to her personal Instagram account.
In a touching photo posted earlier this week, Jenna is lovingly captured sleeping by an admiring Tatum:
Despite the talk that Channing likes to party with the local ladies while filming movies outside of L.A., Tatum told Us Weekly that he wouldn't trade the world for his wife:
"She keeps us all sane.
"Jenna, she puts everything in perspective for me always.
"I'll find myself spinning out or angry or whatever or even happy and she always somehow ends up somehow riding the ship in some very interesting way."
While Channing may still be in the running for husband of the year, his Foxcatcher performance was passed over for Golden Globe consideration, which is crazy when considering all Tatum has to put himself through for the role.
In a recent interview with Life & Style Magazine, Channing claimed that he lost considerable amounts of weight getting in wrestling shape for the movie:
"I dropped 15lbs in a day. You have a ton of water in your skin and stomach and (Mark) Ruff and I figured out how much weight we could lose in the gym.
"I was not feeling very well after that."
Now consider that all Steve Carrell had to do was have someone glue a fake nose onto his face.
