Going track-by-track, in 50 words or less, through all 15 of E.L. James' favorite classical music.
Today...Joseph Canteloube, "Baïlèro" from Chants d'Auvergne.
The second tune in the first series of Canteloube's "Songs from Auvergne," Arleen Auger and the English Chamber Orchestra handle this one with poise and repose. Why, then, would James choose such a song? Well, Auger would go on to die from brain cancer. As for Auvergne, that's where Guy Debord was situated--just before he shot himself in the heart.
