Kate Hudson and Husband Matt Bellamy Back Together after New DWTS Boyfriend Dating Split [VIDEO NEWS]

Kate Hudson and her would-have-been husband, Matt Bellamy, are apparently back together for the holidays, despite just announcing their split a few short weeks ago. According to the latest gossip news updates, the former fiancés were seen shopping together in Aspen last week -- presumably for the holidays. There is no word as to whether or not this means Goldie Hawn's superstar daughter has split with her Dancing with the Stars boyfriend or not, but the fact Dereck Hough angrily refused to talk about their dating situation recently probably isn't a good sign.

Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy made the news recently when they called of their nearly four-year long engagement, to go their separate ways.

But apparently that doesn't necessarily apply during the holiday season as he and Kate were recently seen looking like a couple a real besties while out shopping in Aspen just before last week.

An eyewitness told People that while they didn't look like a romantic couple Matt and Kate did genuinely seem like friends:

"They were extremely happy... just really friendly.

"They stayed together. He carried her bags for her.

"They were laughing and smiling together."

While Kate was immediately linked to Dancing with the Stars champion Derek Hough following the split to Matt, Hudson's reported rebound got pretty upset when asked by TMZ about their relationship:

"Hey buddy...could you not do that right now buddy?

"It's not really the time and place you know what I mean buddy?

"It's not really the time and place to talk about anything."

For the super-friendly Mormon born and bred Hough that passive agressive exchange was something akin to Britney Spears trying to run over the paparazzi with her baby at the wheel.

When Hudson's reps were contacted about the reports of Kate making out with Hough in front of god and everybody at the beginning of the month, thankfully they were a little less cagey:

"Kate and Matt have been separated for some time now.

"Despite this, they remain very close friends and committed co-parents."

Did the word co-parents exist before the advent of the Hollywood divorce is or that something Gwyneth Paltrow recently invented over brunch?
