The UFC Featherweight Champ Jose Aldo is one of the most skilled individuals in the sport of MMA. Many analysts have described Aldo as completely dominant in the octagon, and he said to have an excess of situational awareness. In recent news, Jose competed in a charity soccer match in Brazil, and he demonstrated that his skill far exceeds mixed martial arts.
Before the UFC, Aldo was the fourth and final WEC Featherweight Champion. In turn, he became the first and is still the current UFC Featherweight Champ.
He has defended his title many times and remains undefeated in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. In total, Aldo has an impressive record of 25 wins and only 1 loss.
Over and over, Aldo has proven to fans why he deserves to wear his championship belt. For instance, this analysis provided by Bloody Elbow, exemplifies Aldo's in-the-ring composure:
"Throughout the fight, Florian showed that he simply did not have an effective weapon to keep Jose from circling to his right. Kenny consistently looked to establish the inside foot position first, using the jab and feinting the teep to enter range for power punches and takedowns, but the angle of his lead leg, turned away from Aldo as it was, allowed the champ to easily take the outside angle again and again..."
Recently, Aldo showed that his footing in the athletic world extends far past his mixed martial arts skill. According to 101 Great Goals, Aldo virtually humiliated Brazil's Neymar in a charity soccer event:
"After doing so much showboating of his own, Neymar got a taste of his own medicine during his 'Football Against Hunger' charity match in Brazil last night...MMA Star and No.1 UFC ranked featherweight showed that he's got more to him than wrestling and uncouthly knocking people out, by showing off his silky skills, on Neymar Junior no less...Aldo faced up Neymar in his own half, and dribbled him with a rainbow flick!"
