As we all know by now, thankfully, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are back together. So, when the reunited couple skipped out on the 2013 MTV Movie Awards in favor of some Coachella hand holding, most of their fans totally understood.
Surprisingly, Breaking Dawn - Part 2 was only nominated for one lonely statue. And while Rebel Wilson did her best to host a Robster-less awards show on MTV, some sullen Twi-hards went and started a Twit-campaign to rewatch Breaking Dawn - Part 2 during the telecast.
Their hashtag? #BreakingDawnPart2Night, of course.
"As much as [Stewart and Pattinson] love Twilight and all that it has done for them, they want to move on with their career and not look back. They want to respect what got them there but they don't want it to be a crutch," a source close to the couple told Hollywood Life.
After all, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have taken home the popcorn for "Best Kiss" the last four years running.
When pressed further, Hollywood Life's source spoke more direct: "They had nothing to promote, the show is just a big commercial and they had nothing to sell so they decided to have a fun weekend rather then show up to something for an hour and then leave."
Seen here casually holding hands on the second day of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, Kristen Stewart looks delightfully disheveled in a ripped white tee, black denim shorts, lowtop Chuck Taylors and her trademark backwards baseball cap.
Robert Pattinson, in just a green tee and jeans, appears similarly relaxed. Relaxed, but a bit perturbed nonetheless.
