Ole Miss Football's Chad Kelly Arrested After Threatening AK47 MASSACRE; Violence in Football Out of Control?

The Ole Miss' football team had a respectable record this season, however, it was recently reported that one of the team's up-and-comers, Chad Kelly, threatened to massacre a bunch of people with an AK-47. This is not the first time Ole Miss' has made headlines after public safety was accosted. Back in 2012, a crazed man was arrested for submitting false bomb threats against the football team.

Ole Miss' athletic program has a rich history. The Rebels were the first football program in the state, and they are ranked as college footballs 26th all-time winning team. In its 115 years of existence, the Rebels have won six Southeastern Conference Championships. Also, this year's regular season ended nicely with a record of 9 wins and only 3 losses.

However, there is a less glamorous side to the teams past. In 2012, a troubled individual issued football team targeted bomb threats. According to Gulf Life, the police were told the explosives would be placed under player's cars:

"35-year-old Collin Jones, of Oxford, was arrested and charged Monday with false reporting of a bomb threat...Bond was set at $10,000...A 911 call early on Sept. 18 indicated that bombs had been placed under football players' cars at Lexington Pointe apartments...Police investigated the claim for several hours and found no credible threat."

Now, genocide has been threatened again, and this time it is coming from a newly signed star. According to Buffalo News, Chad Kelly wasn't happy about being evicted:

"Chad Kelly, a former local high school football star who signed a major college football scholarship offer last week, was arrested early Sunday after police say he fought with bouncers trying to evict him and a companion from a downtown bar and restaurant and later scuffled with police... Kelly, 20, of Niagara Falls, refused to leave Encore at 492 Pearl St. about 3:15 a.m. and punched a bouncer in the face...Kelly continued to fight with two bouncers and stated 'I'm going to go to my car and get my AK-47 and spray this place...'"
