According to a new report, Ryan Gosling really wants to be considered for a role in the upcoming Ghostbusters movie. This latest information - which came to light as a result of the Sony hacking fiasco - follows reports that he and girlfriend Eva Mendes may be headed towards a breakup.
Ryan Gosling is one of the most desired actors on the planet, but that doesn't mean he can any part he wants by simply picking up the phone (or sending an email).
As Slash Film reports, Gosling would love to be considered for the new Ghostbusters reboot. And if that doesn't work out, Sony still wants him to be in Sinister Six:
"Ryan Gosling has kept a pretty low profile lately, but that could change soon as he is being considered for two major projects. Sony reportedly wants him for Sinister Six, while Gosling himself is interested in Paul Feig's Ghostbusters reboot...If he signs on for the latter he may join Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence, who are also among Feig's wishlist for the cast."
And, judging from a number of the leaked emails, Ryan is one of only a few celebs that Sony actually likes.
Amy Pascal has bashed everyone from Leonardo DiCaprio to Angelina Jolie, but when it comes to Ryan, she is in love.
Unfortunately, not everyone treats Ryan so well.
Tabloids are once again claiming that he and his beautiful girlfriend (and baby momma) Eva Mendes are breaking up. Although the laughable report comes courtesy of National Enquirer, it's still made its way to more credible sites, including Arizona Central.
AC tells readers that Eva may be suffering from some serious jealousy issues:
"Eva Mendes has 'banned' Ryan Gosling from talking to Rachel McAdams...The Place Beyond the Pines actress - who 2 months ago gave birth to Esmeralda, whom she has with Ryan, 34 - has reportedly stopped her partner's ex-girlfriend from contacting the couple after she called to congratulate them on their new arrival."
What do you think about the latest reports? Is there any truth to claims that Ryan and Eva are splitting up? Would you like to see Gosling in Ghostbusters?
