It's been a big few weeks for Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes. Not only did they welcome into the world their first baby, but Ryan was also the latest victim in the leaked emails from Sony. This latest revelation comes just weeks after Eva revealed why she and Ryan chose the name Esmeralda for their adorable, new baby.
Okay, perhaps "victim" is a bit rough.
After all, the Sony emails have been damning to nearly every celebrity they work with. Not only was it revealed that Jennifer Lawrence makes less than her male counterparts, but a number of actors were attacked, including Leonardo DiCaprio.
For Ryan, however, it was a different story. Daily Beast tells readers that the hunky actor and the head of Sony appeared to share in a very loving relationship:
"A lengthy email exchange between Amy Pascal, co-chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Ilene Feldman, a talent manager who represents Ryan Gosling, details the exec and star's lovey-dovey relationship. In an email dated October 3, 2014, Feldman wrote to Pascal: 'Ryan absolutely loved you. Said it was like speed dating because he was late after hitting every wrong gate on the lot. Not it should turn to marriage. He really wants to do something with you.'"
Unfortunately, things aren't going quite so well at home.
According to an interview Eva recently granted, her and Ryan's newest addition is suffering from nausea. In addition to revealing why she and Ryan chose the name Esmeralda, Eva also spoke of her daughter's constant vomiting (via People):
"Ryan and I both love the Esmeralda character from the Victor Hugo novel, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and we just think it's a beautiful name...Amada was my grandmother's name. It means 'beloved' in Spanish...Everything is a struggle for [Esmeralda]...For instance, I haven't thrown up since the 90s and she's thrown up twice since we started this interview."
