According to the latest gossip news updates, a flustered Johnny Depp is trying to hurry up and get married before his angry girlfriend, Amber Rose, wises up and calls off their engagement. Word has it that Pirates of the Caribbean star made such a fool of himself during is drunk sounding speech at the Hollywood Film Awards, that is has the 28-year-old model rethinking their wedding. Interestingly enough, the latest reports have Depp's ex-wife angry not with Johnny but Amber. The rumor is that Vanessa Paradis blames Heard for allowing any of it to happen in the first place.
When Johnny Depp stumbled up and into the microphone that fateful at the Hollywood Film Awards no one failed to notice that he wasn't his usually charming and articulate self.
A source claiming to be Depp's friend insisted in In Touch Weekly December 1, issue that Johnny wasn't new to drinking in public, but things had never gotten this bad before:
"Johnny's been down this road many times, but he's never made such a spectacle of himself on life TV.
"He'll quit cold turkey for a while and that makes him think he doesn't have a problem.
"But his friends and family are worried."
It may too late to right the ship, however, reports Us Weekly as Johnny's "erratic behavior" and "awful mood swings" of late have Heard questioning a the very foundation of their relationship:
"She's realizing she might be happier with someone else."
According to Radar Online, Johnny's ex-wife is convinced that not only is Amber not the one for Johnny, her immaturity is the real reason Depp embarrassed himself in November.
An insider with all the behind-the-scenes deets told the website that when Vanessa Paradis saw Depp stumbling arounhd like a buffoon she became furious with his girlfriend:
"Watching him slurring and swaying was a nightmare for her...It burns Vanessa to see him making such a fool of himself.
"She blames Amber for his mid-life crisis.
"Vanessa's convinced Amber's not mature or tough enough to deal with Johnny's drinking."
Well...if Johnny's not mature enough to deal with it, why should his wife-to-be be any different?
