Major Spoiler Alert: Fans of the hit CW DC Comics series Arrow were shocked when the lead character was killed off in the mid-season 3 finale. The Green Arrow gave his life in a (shirtless) blood duel with Ra’s al Ghul (Matt Noble) in order to protect his little sister Thea. Now Stephen Amell is opening up about the life of the show after the death of the Arrow. However, don’t count the Emerald Archer out just yet. The character has returned from death before in the comics, and with Ra’s al Ghul’s involved, The Lazarus Pit isn’t out of the picture.
Stephen Amell captain's a very loyal social media following. So it shouldn’t really surprise anyone to learn that some members his fanbase was a little upset by his death in the most recent episode of Arrow. After the episode, Amell took to facebook to quill the outraged members of his army:
“Facebook. Thank you so much for the enthusiasm spilling out of tonight's fall finale. I've never had anywhere near this amount of feedback. And by feedback, I mostly mean swear words. There were an awful lot of expletives.
“Seriously though: Despite the title, our show is bigger than any one character. We're going to prove that to you. Sit tight... January will be here in no time.”
Arrow returns on January 21, 2015.
