Scott Stapp was on top of a the world in the late 90s / early 2000s, but the Creed Singer has fallen on hard times as of late. Stapp, has allegedly started using heavy drugs. This according to his soon-to-be ex-wife, Jaclyn who called 911 after Stapp allegedly threatened to kill the President of The United States, Barack Obama. According to the tapes, the crazed singer thought he was on a secret mission from the CIA.

In the 911 tape, Stapp’s wife Jaclyn can be heard saying that he thinks he was being recruited by the CIA to assassinate president Obama.
Jaclyn Stapp, who filed for divorce from the rock singer back in November, also claims that he is a paranoid schizophrenic and frequent drug abuser.
In November Stapp released a video on his Facebook, where he claimed that his record label and the IRS had stolen money from him. He said that he was broke, sober, starving and living in a hotel.
Scott Stapp has been plagued with personal problems including drug use, domestic violence and suicide attempts.
In 2006 a sex tape of Stapp and Kid Rock receiving oral sex from several groupies on a tour bus, back in 1999, was released.
Jaclyn Stapp is reporting trying to her husband committed for an involuntary 60-days psych hold.
