Megan Fox DUI Wreck Update: Brian Austin Green's Near Death Drunk Crash Changes Life [DETAILS]

New details have come to light about Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox's recent DUI wreck, where the celebs' lives were nearly taken by a drunk driver. Green talked in detail about the crash and explained how the whole near death fiasco has changed his life.

Megan Fox, best known for her role in the popular Transformers series, and her husband Brian Austin Green, made famous for singing in a boy band, nearly died last week.

The celebs were just trying to head home on a Thursday night, when a drunk driver plowed into their vehicle. Although many details surrounding the accident remain unknown, it has been reported that the driver of the other vehicle was immediately arrested.

Even though the perpetrator was placed behind bars and Megan and Brian escaped injury-free, the two will forever be changed. According to Brian, both he and Megan are aware of just how lucky they really are (via Daily News):

"It could have ended horribly. We were talking about it today, on the way to run errands. I was saying, 'We're really lucky,'...[The drunk driver] was going 50 miles an hour, and we were going 25 down the street, and we hit head-on. The inertia of that is life changing. That's life changing for us."

Just a few short hours before the terrible accident, Megan and Brian were photographed together on a date.

While it's certainly not out of the ordinary for a couple to go on a date, the photos do possess some significance.

After all, this is the first pic of the couple spending time together in quite some time.

In case you missed the photos, you can check them out over at Just Jarred, who also offers up the following description:

"Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green step out for a breakfast date without the kids at the Beverly Glenn Mall on Thursday morning (December 4) in Beverly Hills, Calif...The 28-year-old actress and her husband haven't been spotted together in a few weeks!"
