Well, Mr. Cameron Carpenter isn't above anyone in pop culture to be made fun of on late night. In the latest from @midnight, guests Chris Delia and company get a little cheeky with the world-renowned organist, hating on his flamboyant good looks.
A video clip shows host Chris Hardwick (a last name that no one should throw stones with) posting a YouTube short of Carpenter with his shirt unbuttoned exposing his chest and stomach. The panel, thus, had a field day.
In the short promo clip, Cameron talks about how he can "do something bigger" with the organ. But that wasn't to anyone's concern, when they rebranded him with a new slogan, one being: "Future Uber Driver."
Earlier, the "hastily-recorded-from-Viacom" YT vid from our own Logan K. Young was poached by none other than Norman Lebrecht at Slipped Disc (which may have been removed). We will be taking our unique visitors now, Norman.
But in all fairness, the clip is pretty entertaining and is a positive thing for the organist. Being talked about on television doesn't quite mean you're irrelevant just yet.
And perhaps just a goof but the Internet is awaiting on a response from Carpenter — maybe. So in the meantime, check out the prank below.
