‘300’ Gerard Butler Girlfriend Morgan Brown Gets Actor Sober Before New Movie ‘Geostorm’ Begins Filming? [NEWS UPDATE]

Scottish nationalist Gerard Butler has made no secret about his reported battle with painkillers following a painful injured sustained while acting back in 2007. According to the latest gossip news updates, the 300 star even struggled with addiction after his 2012 release from rehab, but has finally been fully cured thanks to his new girlfriend, Morgan Brown. The story goes that through a diet of true love and juice smoothies the interior designer has the How to Train Your Dragon 2 bad boy feeling happy and healthy just in time to start filming his new movie, Geostorm, in Louisiana this week.

It was common knowledge that serial womanizer Gerard Butler was starting to get a little strung out on the ladies earlier this year as he seemingly jumped from one causal date to the next as frequently as the international actor changed continents.

That is all over now though, reports In Touch Weekly, who have supposedly spoken to a source close to Gerry that claims that in addition to getting Butler to settle down his new girlfriend, Morgan Brown, also got him permanently off of painkillers:

"He's telling everyone that Morgan saved his life by getting him off painkillers.

"He says Morgan also put him on a regimen of green juices and since then, he's lost weight and he's feeling healthier."

The insider insists that Gerard and his new Malibu house decorator are getting as serious about settiling down together as they are maintaining a healthy lifestyle:

"Gerard is a one woman man now...They just moved in together.

"And now they're talking marriage!"

Let's hope that Butler can keep the new regimen up while he's away from Murphy working on his movies.

According to Just Jared, Butler is currently hundreds of miles away working on his latest natural disaster/political assignation flick, Geostrom.

In you thought Installer was great but it just didn't seem like it had enough going on to keep you entertained, than you are going to love Geostorm -- which from the IMDB synopsis should fall somewhere in between Armageddon and JFK:

"As a man heads into space to prevent climate-controlling satellites from creating a storm of epic proportions, his brother discovers a plot to assassinate the president."

Are sure it would just make more sense to make a 300 2 at this point?
