John Maus Shares the Beef on Ariel Pink in Twitter Manifesto, Calls Out the 'Misogynist' as a 'Nymphomaniac'

If Twitter were a publisher, then John Maus's latest post may be a legitimate manifesto against the mop-top mermaid Ariel Pink. Is he a misogynist or just a nymphomaniac? Well, Maus has some words on the topic.

Pink, admittedly, hasn't come off as the most woman-loving artist on the scene, what with his recent jabs at Madonna and other women in the industry. But, Maus is not stabbing his outward facade — he is taking it to a more personal level.

Maybe it lies in his lyrics, but Maus claims Pink's entire identity relies on theories of castration and wanting to "become-woman."

Get in line, I am sure there is an entire culture behind hating Ariel and what he stands for.

But this brings to trial Ariel and his entire persona. With Maus and Pink having attended Cal Arts and played music together, this is an almost "inside" perspective. Perhaps it is an inside scoop, but it is also an unremitting bias on Maus's part.

Whatever the beef may be, Maus has kept busy elsewhere with building new instruments for some upcoming recordings.

Maus's last studio album was in 2011: We Must Become the Pitiless Censors of Ourselves.

For now, check out Maus below, where he discusses "The Hysterical Body" +1:
