After Punching Wife in Elevator Assault Video, Ray RIce Celebrates Ban Appeal Court Victory in New York Nightclub [UPDATE]

Ray Rice was fired from his position as running back for the Baltimore Ravens after a violent wife beating video surfaced, which lead to Ray being permanently banned from the league. Now, however, Rice has won an appeal that allows him back in. Ray was apparently overjoyed by the outcome. as Rice immediately hit the clubs to celebrate his "victory."

Back in September, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell extended Rice's suspension from a temporary one to an indefinite one.

However, it appears that Rice wrote a heartfelt apology, and that was enough to convince the judge to let such a controversial man back into a sport born out of honor. Nevertheless, CNN has the details surrounding the appeal:

"Former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice has won his appeal of his indefinite suspension by the NFL for violating its domestic violence policy, the players union said Friday. Former U.S. District Judge Barbara Jones, a neutral arbitrator, presided over Rice's appeal hearing in New York earlier this month. Her decision means Rice is immediately able to play but any team will have to consider the consequences of signing someone whose domestic-violence case has been so public."

This does not guarantee that Mr. RIce will return to the league any time soon. With such an infamous controversy surrounding the NFL player, teams will likely be hesitant to offer Mr. Rice a contract.

Based on recent photos and reports, Rice isn't concerned with signing a contract at this time. Instead, he is more considered with partying it up at nightclubs. TMZ has the details:

"Ray Rice has finally returned to the bar scene -- partying at a NYC nightclub for the first time since he attacked his wife at an Atlantic City casino back in February... Rice hit up Bounce Sporting Club in Manhattan late Saturday night/early Sunday morning -- where he posed for pics with fans and chatted with anyone who approached him. We're told security was trying to keep fans away from Rice -- but Ray was talking and making conversation with people anyway."

This doesn't seem like a time to party. It seems like a time to be at home your wife who miraculously decided to stay with you after you beat her. What do think of the situation? Let us know in the comment section below.
