Starting April 7, 2013 with its previews, Broadway will offer a new interpretation of the Scottish play 'Macbeth' written by William Shakespeare, featuring Tony and Olivier Award winner, actor Alan Cumming.
The play directed by John Tiffany and Andrew Goldberg, will hold its opening night on April 21, at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre and will play a limited 73 performances closing on Jun 30.

This new interpretation of Shakespeare's play offers a look on a patient in a psychiatric unit who is reliving the story of Macbeth.
The play features costumes by Merle Hensel, sound by Fergus O'Hare, lighting by Natasha Chivers, and, projection design by Ian William Galloway.
The play will be accommodated at Ethel Barrymore Theatre, 243 West 47th Street, New York, NY.
The new production of 'Macbeth' premiered last year in Tramway, Glasgow and then arrived to the Lincoln Center Festival in New York.
