Daryl Dixon Norman Reedus Talks ‘Walking Dead’ Mid-Season Finale: Teases Cast Member Death in New Episode [SPOILERS] [CAROL OR BETH]

The Walking Dead big mid-season finale is coming up in under two week’s and it looks like someone close to Daryl Dixon might die. When we last left the apocalypse, both Carol and Beth had been admitted to Grady Memorial Hospital. Dixon had retreated to gather the cavalry, and wage war on the hospital. Now, Norman Reedus has opened up about filming an emotional scene, that could hint at one of his fellow members dying in the battle.

Recently, TV Guide caught with Norman Reedus, who opened up about having to cry his eyes out, to keep from tearing up during one of mid-season finale’s emotional scene (via Comicbook.com):

"I sat on an apple box with my head between my legs and just bawled for an hour. I really wanted to not tear up during the scene, I wanted to be like I wasted every tear in my body before we started shooting so I just sat there and cried and cried and cried."

Daryl Dixon, like almost everyone else, has been through one horrible event after the other, as Reedus comments:

"He’s one of those characters where they keep dangling a carrot in front of him and he keeps reaching for it but the carrot falls in the mud right before he’s about to get it."

What do you think about Reedus’ comments? Do you think Beth or Carol could die? What character do you want to see survie?Let us know your thoughts in the comments section at the bottom of the page.

The Walking Dead is all new this Sunday night at 9:00 p.m. eastern on AMC. The mid-season finale airs next weekend, on November 30.
