Tonight the Disney Channel’s hit Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter series, Girl Meets World, is all new. Check the preview below to see what in store for the next two episodes. Speaking of new episodes, Shawn Hunter is coming back in an upcoming Christmas episode. Rider Strong recently opened up about the upcoming Boy Meets World reunion.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Girl Meets World, titled “Girl Meets Friendship,” reads:
“Lucas, Riley and Farkle run against each other for 7th grade class president.”
Next week the show isn’t taking the week off for Thanksgiving, instead we get another all new episode, titled “Girl Meets Brother.” The plot synopsis for the November 28th episode, reads:
“Riley babysits Auggie when Cory and Topanga go out to celebrate their anniversary.”
While we are thankful for the Thanksgiving week episode, what we are really greatfull is the upcoming Christmas episode. That is because Shawn Hunter himself, Rider Strong will be returning.
Earlier in the year, Strong spoke with E! News about just what brings Shawn and Cory back together:
"We've talked about it a little bit. I think he's got to be in trouble of some kind and he's got to pull Cory into trouble. That's definitely the way it's going to be because that's always how it went. I'd like to see him happier. I feel like Shawn was destined for tragedy. I mean, gosh, they killed my father, my mother abandoned me, my girlfriend and I broke up at the end of the show. They really just made Shawn's life hell. It would be good if he's in trouble but in general is happy."
