Tonight the hit AMC zombie drama, The Walking Dead is all new the first of last three episodes of 2014. Tonight’s episode is all about Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Carol and Beth. Check out the preview below to see what happens. Last week, Eugene (Josh McDermitt) revealed that the cure was a lie. Now, McDermitt is opening up about whether or not he thinks that Eugene will die.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode, titled, ‘Consumed,” reads:
“Members of the group venture into a familiar location on a heroic rescue mission.”
Take a look at the sneak peek video of this week’s episode, featuring a very trigger happy Carol:
Last week’s episode ended with Eugene revealing the truth about there not really being a cure, and Abraham Ford beating him to a bloody pulp as a result.
Eugene’s fate is still unknown, however, he might not have much time left. Where Eugene is currently still alive in the comics, the show has proven to not venture away from the pages of the it’s predecessor on several occasions.
Now Eugene actor, Josh McDermitt, has opened up to Zap2it about whether or not he thinks his character will live or die:
“The show is its own thing. I don’t think anyone can ever look at the comics and go, ‘Well this is how my character’s arc is going to go,’ but it is nice to know that he’s still alive. Robert Kirkman probably has a reason to keep him around at this point, but again, the show is its own thing and I can only take it episode by episode.”
What do you think will happen to Eugene? Let us know your thoughts on the subject in the comments section at the bottom of the page.
Be sure to tune into the all new episode of The Walking Dead, tonight at 9:00 p.m. eastern on AMC.
