The Pros:

The Loot Crate subscription service sends the figures right to your door, without you having to go fight the holiday shopping lines and hunt for figures in store.

In addition to the figures Loot Crate promises, “several other exclusive and super rare items, including a t-shirt!”

The Cons:

The steep price. Shelling out over $150 dollars in one month might be too much for most looters. Not to mention that this price does not include the normal crate for the month.

You also do not get to chose which figures you get. If you were really aiming to pick up one that is not on the list, then you will have to go about the old fashion way. In short, you might have to pay for a few figures you don’t want.

In conclusion:

If you were planning on running out and grabbing every amiibo you could find this holiday season, than this subscription service could give you a nice hand on starting your collection, and supply you with a few cool extras for close to the same price.

If, however, you are not one of those fans who has to “catch them all,” than you might be better off skipping out on this subscription.
