It seems that Honey Boo Boo mom, "Mama" June Shannon, has not only won over her new child molester boyfriend's love by allegedly lavishing him with gifts, she's been accused of using her daughter's money to do it. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Toddlers and Tiaras matriarch wiped out nearly all the money in Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell's trust fund to buy, Mark McDaniel, the man that sexually abused Anna ten years ago, a new car. Anna, Alana's oldest sister, who clearly won't be getting much money from TLC in light of the TV show's recent cancellation, insists that virtually all her reality show net worth has mysteriously disappeared from her bank account and believes that her mom has to be behind the theft. Cardwell also claims that if the state does finally take the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo title character from her mother, custody of Alana would immediately go to her dad, Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson--not Uncle "Poodle".
As though it was not enough to get her entire family's TLC income taken away for cavorting with the same convicted child molester that sexually abused her very own daughter, Anna Cardwell, is now claiming that her Here Comes Honey Boo Boo mom, June Thompson, actually stole money from her bank account to buy the man a car.
Chickadee revealed in OK! Magazine's November 23, issue that she is fairly certain that June wiped out her Honey Boo Boo bank account to pay for McDaniel's new Altima:
"Apparently, all of us girls have trust funds that have over $30,000 in them."
According to Anna, however, when she called the bank to find out the exact total, she was told that it was a less than impressive $17.90:
"I have a feeling that Mama used that money to buy him a car and buy him what he wanted."
Mama June told OK! that Anna needs to look again, because she has been adding money to the account--not withdrawing from it:
"Not true...I have never bought a car from him--and all that money is in there, besides the money I have given her to live on."
Anna also put to rest some of the TMZ rumors that Alana's uncle, Lee "Poodle" Thompson, would be fighting June for custody of Alana if their living situation did not drastically improve.
Cardwell explained to Life and Style that even if June did finally have her children taken away, it's not as though the Honey Boo Boo title character is going to be up for grabs:
"He should not be anywhere around any kids, because he is a convicted child molester.
"If child services comes and takes away the girls, Alana would go with Sugar Bear."
One thing is for certain...$17.90 for four years of work has to violate some sort of child labor laws.
