‘RHOA’ Cast News: NeNe Leakes Retires; Porsha Williams Spin-Off; Spike Lee Attacks TV Show? [VIDEO UPDATE]

While NeNe Leakes is reportedly more than ready to retire from Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta, word has it that rest of the cast is looking to stick around for as long as the network will have them. According to the latest gossip news updates, recently fired reality star Porsha Williams is said to have her own spin-off in the works for next year. Rumor has it the only reason producers demoted her in the first place was to give the Dish Nation radio star her own TV show. Meanwhile, acclaimed director and race provocateur, Spike Lee, recently attacked the reality series as "the destruction of the modern world."

While NeNe Leakes may not much be interested in working for Bravo any longer, Porsha Williams is said to be further developing her relationship with the network, despite being demoted on the show.

According to a somewhat reputable folks at Medio Take Out, the only reason Porsha had her peach taken away in the first place was because it was time to sign a new contract for her own show:

"Porsha Williams is getting her own spin-off show with Bravo--it's FACT!!!

"When Bravo 'demoted' Porsha and took away her peach...it wasn't a real demotion.

"They immediately signed her on to do her own SPIN OFF SHOW, like the one that Kim Zolciak has."

Renowned Hollywood director, Spike Lee, recently announced that Real Housewives of Atlanta isn't so much television, in his opinion, as it is a catalyst for the downfall of man.

During a recent discussion on Fusion TV, Lee openly challenged a room of people that were hesitant to admit to watching the program, before telling them their TV choices were ruining our society (via Wet Paint):

"Oh! I'm leaving now! I'm leaving! No one in this mother f--king room watches Housewives of Atlanta?...You're lying!

"That's pretty much the destruction of the modern world."

This coming from the guy that directed John Leguizamo's vehicle to fame, Freak.

Yeah, that right...Spike Lee is responsible for what John Leguizamo has been doing to cinema for the last twenty years.
