The Broadway world premiere of the play "Lucky Guy" featuring two-time Oscar winner Tom Hanks became the fourth top-grossing show for the week.
The show is just behind the top three blockbusters "Wicked," "The Book of Mormon," and a story about "The Lion King."
According to the ticket sale data released on March 11, by the Broadway League of theater owners and producers, the "Lucky Guy" play in its first week made more than $1 million, grossing $1,109,678 for sever performances.
The story by three-time Academy Award nominee Nora Ephron, is based on a biography of Mike McAlary, the New York City columnist.
Right behind the "Lucky Guy" is a charming story about a main character "Cinderella" and "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark."
