It may have taken half a year, but rumors that Beyonce and Jay Z are headed towards a divorce have begun to wane. The breakup claims were started after elevator footage was released which clearly showed Solange Knowles fighting with Jay Z. But now it appears things have turned around, as the couple reportedly renewed their wedding vows and have been spotted on numerous date nights.
Jay Z and Beyonce, who were once ultra-secretive about their romance, have really been packing on the PDA lately. While this has led many to accuse the couple of staging events for PR purposes, E! Online seems to believe that the couple's love is genuine.
In fact, Jay and Bey were spotted on a date night earlier this week, where the couple checked out Jake Gyllenhaal's latest flick:
"The On the Run couple attended the premiere of Jake Gyllenhaal's latest film, Nightcrawler, last night at AMC Lincoln Square...Bey and Jay arrived at the theater together and took an elevator straight up to the floor where the screening was, but not before posing for photos on the red carpet with the man of the hour. Gyllenhaal has been getting major buzz for his role as a fairly creepy individual who starts selling footage of accidents and crime scenes to media outlets..."
As a further symbol of their commitment to one another, it appears that the couple have renewed their wedding vows, after crashing a stranger's wedding over the summer.
Like many times when a celebrity couple renews their vows, Jay Z and Beyonce were accused of struggling with marital problems. While this may have been the case in the past, one major tabloid suggests that the couple are doing better than ever:
According to People, Jay Z and Beyonce were on the verge of splitting up, but things are much better now. In fact, the two even renewed their wedding vows:
"Beyoncé and Jay Z have faced a whirlwind of whispers in recent months that they were on the rocks and ready to split, but now it appears the couple are doing well...'They did have major problems,' a source tells People. 'But they worked it out and they've renewed their vows.'"
