While filming the end of the series, creator Kurt Sutter had to be hospitalized, where he had an appendectomy. During his absence, Glee’s Paris Barclay reportedly stepped in as director. However, don’t expect Sutter to just sit back and watch his baby end without him. Sutter told his Twitter followers that he will be back this week, tweeting:
“Thanks for all the love and well wishes. Appendix ejected. Back in director's chair Wednesday. Thanks @Harperbar for having my back.”
We wish Kurt Sutter a quick recovery.
