‘Sex and the City 3’ News: Sarah Jessica Parks Shoes Awarded After Kristin Davis Confirms Sequel, Chris Noth NOT Interested?

Good news Sex and the City movie fans. Several returning cast members have confirmed that they have been approached about making another number 3. According to the latest gossip news updates, the final decision is up to the studios but it seems like the show's producers are lining things up to get the project off the ground. While Sarah Jessica Parker has been winning footwear awards for her excellent taste in shoes, Kristen Davis and Jennifer Hudson have been out spreading the news that people are talking within the franchise about a new film. Reports have it that Carrie Bradshaw's love interest may be absent from the movie as Chris Noth seems less than interested in playing the role one more time.

Sarah Jessica Parker may be fine with her award winning shoe line, but the rest of the Sex and the City gang sure could use a little bit of that old HBO shot in the arm to get their careers happening once again.

During her recent trip to The Meredith Vieira Show, Kristen Davis revealed that her people were currently part of a discussion with the studios to get a third Sex and the City movie made sooner rather than later (via Daily Mail):

"We are in the hopeful phase I think...All of us want it to happen over here, and I don't know if they are going to green light it."

Jennifer Hudson also told Dish Nation that she had a sneaking suspicion with the way things were headed that Sex 3 was definitely going to get the green light at some point (via MTZ News):

"I think it might be [happening].

"Somebody just came to me talking about that.

"So if it's in the talks, it might happen. So look for it."

A source with behind the scenes details claimed in Star Magazine's November 3, issue that actor Chris Noth, who plays Mr. Big in the franchise, isn't interested unless the third film lands him a giant pay check:

"Chris thought they should have stopped at the first movie.

"Besides there are only so many times Carrie and Big can break up before the whole story become unbelievable.

"[But] he might be persuaded for the right price."

After all, it is Hollywood...why should Chris Noth be any different.
