Now that he is married to the woman of his dreams, it would seem that George Clooney has everything a man could want--except a family. According to the latest gossip news updates, however, his new wife, Amal Alamuddin, may soon be pregnant as her father seemed to demand she have some babies during his Batman wedding toast. Who knows, the E.R. doctor may even be down with the whole thing. Longtime friends of the Brad Pitt's bestie claim that the London lawyer is the perfect match for the politically minded Hollywood activist.
With his daughter waiting until she was 36-years old to finally get married, Ramzi Alamuddin made sure to mention that it was time to make him some grandbabies during his toast at the Clooneys' weeding last month.
A source close to the couple told OK! Magazine for their November 3, issue that at this point, most of Amal and George's friends and family are ready for them to conceive:
"George and Amal would be wonderful parents.
"They fawn over babies-- and Amal is only 36 so they have time.
"[Plus] Amal speaks English, French and Arabic, so the children will be multilingual."
While Clooney's best friend Rande Gerber, husband to supermodel Cindy Crawford, didn't mention any babies or political ambitions when he recently spoke to People about the marriage, he did seem to think those avenues were open for the couple if they are interested (via EnStarz):
"I've been friends with George probably half my life. And it's just great that he found someone.
"She's really perfect for him. She's smart and she's beautiful, engaging.
"She is, again... smart, but she doesn't make you feel stupid!
"She's a great girl, and together I think they can do some incredible things."
Let's hope that George and Amal Clooney don't think they have to choose between starting a family and saving the world...because, if so, they seem to have decided on a strict no baby policy long ago.
