The hit NBC firehouse drama, Chicago Fire is all new. Check out the all new episode preview below, as well one for next week’s Halloween episode. This is all leading up to a three-show crossover event, between the Jesse Spencer series, its spin-off Chicago P.D. and the hit, Law & Order: SVU.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode, titled, “The Nuclear Option,” reads:
“Casey deals with the aftereffects of his sister's divorce announcement; and Dawson and Mills get used to their new roles at Station 51. Meanwhile, Brett ponders whether to leave Chicago; and the Molly's crew works to get the food truck started.”
The official plot synopsis for the Halloween week episode, titled “ Madmen and Fools,” reads:
“Casey helps out his sister while taking down his shady brother-in-law. Meanwhile, Brett assists a mother in need; Mills learns about unlicensed private investigation; and Hermann starts training Dawson.”
Fans of the series are gearing up for the upcoming Chicago Fire crossover, with Chicago PD as well creator Dick Wolf’s other series, Law and Order: SVU.
Wolf, recently released a statement about next month’s crossover event, telling the press, reading (via E! News)
"Warren Leight (SVU showrunner) and Matt Olmstead (Chicago Fire/Chicago PD showrunner) are two of the best writers in the business. We wanted to figure out a way to create a crime that connects all three shows. Warren, Matt and I came up with a story that was big and unique enough to transit to all three."
