Ever since Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes welcomed their baby girl into the world a few short days ago, fans have been obsessed with learning all they can about the celebs' baby. While photos of the child have yet to be released (despite Ellen's recent prank), her name has reportedly been confirmed. One thing that hasn't been confirmed is Ryan's rumored role in an upcoming Marvel movie. At least these rumors might replace claims that Eva and Ryan are still headed towards a breakup.
Ryan Gosling may struggle with his privacy from the tabloids, but one thing he certainly isn't struggling with is finding work.
If you're a fan of RyGos, then you are in luck. The heartthrob actor is up for a number of major roles.
And, according to Hollywood Reporter, a lot of Ryan's upcoming films revolve around superheroes:
"In recent weeks, the 33-year-old actor has met with Marvel Studios to discuss starring in the title role in Doctor Strange, and he is fielding an offer to topline Summit's adaptation of The Secret Life of Houdini: The Making of America's First Superhero. Sources also say he is being courted to star in Suicide Squad, David Ayer's take on the DC Comics supervillain team at Warner Bros."
Of course, the biggest news surrounding Ryan these days has to be in regards to his newborn. Gosling, along with rumored fiancé Eva Mendes, recently welcomed into the world their very first child.
Tabloids and fans alike have been clamoring to get any information (or photos) they can about the babe, and it looks like E! News may have beat everyone to the punch.
According to the popular U.S.-based gossip site, Eva and Ryan have named their daughter Esmeralda Amada Gosling.
One source who spoke with E! claims that Ryan and Eva couldn't be happier...or more exhausted:
"They've settled so well into their new family of three...Ryan is very hands on and has been taking the baby after the early morning feed so Eva can sleep in a bit. He sings the baby songs-they are both madly in love with this child...They're both great, but exhausted. They know it's going to be a little while before the baby adjusts to a schedule."
What do you think about the latest reports? Are you excited to see Gosling play a few more superheroes? If so, what project are you most excited about?
