Shia LaBeouf made his first public appearance since his Cabaret arrest at the Fury screening Wednesday, Oct. 15. Days after his unloading of his arrest details on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he spoke about Brad Pitt’s ability to hold him together.
“I ain’t never worked with a man in his position who gives as much,” LaBeouf said. “I got really vulnerable early on, and he carried me."
He maintained a low profile during the screening, posting up in the back of the room with director Davis Ayer.
LaBeouf was arrested and pled guilty to disorderly conduct earlier this year for his behavior at a Cabaret performance. During the escapade, LaBeouf told cops, "Do you know who I am?" and "F--k you. I’ll f--k you up!"
At the station, he spat at the police, to which they put a face mask on him. LaBeouf then, reportedly, called an officer a "f----r" adding, "I have millions and millions of dollars and attorneys. I’m going to ruin your career."
His reasoning for doing so, then, entails drinking large amounts of whiskey while watching the World Cup. LaBeouf told Kimmel he had just returned to the States from Ireland while visiting his lady friend and had apparently started wetting his whistle just before his flight.
The conversation continues with details on how he wants to befriend a homeless man, scores a free ticket to Cabaret from a dancer and continues to consume whiskey and feed strawberries to older women.
And so on. Take a look below at the full interview and wait for the Allen Iverson name drop:
