FX ‘American Horror Story: Season 4’ New Episode Preview After Twisty Protest and Real Life Clown Attacks? [SPOILERS]

FX thriller series, American Horror Story: Freak Show is all new tonight. Recently, the show has come under fire from the Clowns of America, for their killer clown, Twisty. The group is protesting the medias portrayal of creepy clowns, meanwhile, a real life group of clowns have been terrorizing a town in California, so there is that.

The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode, titled “Massacres and Matinees,” reads:

“A man from Ethel's troubled past arrives at camp. Meanwhile, Gloria arranges a play date for Dandy.”

Not everyone is happy with this current season of American Horror Story. The president of Clowns of America International, Glenn Kohlberger, has taken issue with the show’s killer clown, Twisty, telling The Hollywood Reporter:

"Hollywood makes money sensationalizing the norm. They can take any situation no matter how good or pure and turn it into a nightmare. We do not support in any way, shape or form any medium that sensationalizes or adds to coulrophobia or 'clown fear.'

It is that very same fear that some real-life people are taking advantage of. Recently, severl photos of clowns have appeared outside of landmarks in Bakersfield, California. Some have reportedly been holding weapons. ABC News recently spoke to Bakersfield P.D.’s Sgt. Joe Grubbs about the clowns:

"There's a natural phobia of clowns. And, clearly, if someone is dressed up as a clown and holding a weapon in a threatening manner, that's going to frighten people."

Are you afraid of clowns? If so then you might not want to tune into the all new episode of American Horror Story: Freak Show, tonight at 10:00 p.m. on FX.
