Fans Brawl at Packers Versus Dolphins, 8 Arrested for Fights in Parking Lot as Green Bay Beats Miami 27-24

A classic NFL rivalry played itself out both on the field and in the parking lot this week. Miami hosted long-time rivals the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, and while the two teams fought hard between the lines, the fans fought hard too. There were reportedly 66 "incidents" on Sunday, including 8 arrests as the Packers squeaked by 27-24. The fans continued to brawl in the parking lot even after the game was over.

According to Deadspin, there were 45 ejections on Sunday as rowdy fans got into it with each other. 8 people were arrested for scrapping in the parking lot. Miami police reportedly said that level of activity was high.

Meanwhile, on the field, Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 24 passes on 42 attempts, throwing three touchdowns and 264 yards on the way to the Packers' fourth win of the season.

Ryan Tannehill went 20/31 for 244 yards and 2 TD's, but he also got picked off twice.

It's no wonder there was so much animosity in the air; the Packers won in Miami for only the second time in NFL history (via NFL.com).

The heat was also reportedly a problem. The Packers weren't used to the sweltering 85 degrees, at least not in October.

They managed to pull through, however, and beat the hometown boys in spectacular last minute fashion, while the bloodthirsty fans pummeled each other within the stadium and without.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, an eloquent spokesman for his team, let his playing do the talking on Sunday. He led his team to a tough-fought, well-earned victory. But he and his fellow Packers might be ready to get back up north to the seasonably cool fall weather that Miami couldn't offer.
