Despite what you might have heard, NeNe Leakes says she wasn't given a $1.5 million raise for Season 7 of Real Housewives of Atlanta and is still strongly considering quitting after her contract is up at the end of the year. According to the latest gossip news updates, Porsha Williams has been fired from the cast and Claudia Jordan has been brought on full-time--presumably to take her place. The Rickey Smiley Show cohost says that she was just as surprised as the Bravo reunion recap brawler to hear the reports that she would be getting Porsha's peach.
If you thought that NeNe Leakes would be dissuaded from leaving Real Housewives of Atlanta when you heard last week that the Glee guest star had been offered $1.5 million by Bravo for her Season 7 efforts, sadly you were as mistaken as those rumors.
During a recent visit to the Extra set, NeNe explained that even if her salary was millions of dollars it wouldn't change the fact that you have to embrace change.
According to Leakes at some point you just grow tired of the hair pulling and backbiting.
Let's hope then, that it's not too late for 41-year-old Claudia Jordan to make a splash on the hit reality show--as she has finally been made a full-blown member of the 2014 cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
The morning DJ explained to her Rickey Smiley Show cohosts that she was just as confused by the announcement as the shell-shocked Porsha Williams--who has been demoted to friend of the Housewives.
Andy Cohen spoke out for the side of the producers of Twitter--explaing to all of Porsha's fans and Kenya Moore's haters that their decision didn't have anything to do with the assault at last year's reunion.
The Watch What Happens Live host claimed that Porsha was being demoted because she was boring, not because she finally gave Kenya what she'd been asking for for months.
So...it would seem that Porsha lost her Bravo job because she didn't get into enough first fights instead of one too many.
