It wasn't long ago that we all had to say goodbye to Sandra Oh's character on ABC's hit medical drama Grey's Anatomy, and Owen Hunt, played by British actor Kevin McKidd, is still reeling from her leaving in Season 11. According to the latest gossip spoilers update news, the wounded warrior angrily confronts Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez) for letting him down, when everyone knows what is frustrating him is Christina Yang living half-a-world. Tempers apparently come to a head when Owen orders Torres to do something that she can't.
Three episodes into the Season 11 of Grey's Anatomy, Iraqi war veteran Owen Hunt is having problems confronting his traumatic past once again--only this time it's Christina Yang that haunts his dreams.
During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kevin McKidd explained that going into this next several episodes Dr. Hunt is still trying to move past the loss of someone he truly loves:
"His buttons get pushed and he's triggered a little bit.
"The floodgates open and you find out where he's at.
"He is doing that Owen thing by taking the energy and loss he's feeling by Cristina being gone and he's trying to use the power of his emotions to try and do some good, but it backfires a little bit."
In the preview obtained by Yahoo News, tempers flare between Owen and Callie when he takes it upon himself to fix a soldiers leg instead of his own broken heart.
Things quickly come to a head as a head-strong Torres tries to convince a heartbroken Owen that one more thing he wants isn't going to be working out:
"The way his amputation was performed, there's no way this will work...You know who doesn't give a damn about his service? The robot leg," explained the incredibly blunt surgeon, but Hunt just isn't willing to hear it.
Owen pushes back without missing a beat--reminding he's still her boss:
"He's a soldier, Callie!
"Fix it; that is an order."
Oh...the producers should go ahead and have all three of them sleep together just to get it over with.
