Law and Order: SVU is back with an all new episode, tonight. The hit series will soon cross over to the with Jesse Spencer’s Chicago Fire and it’s Sophia Bush lead spin-off Chicago P.D. Tonight’s episode seemingly rips stories straight out of the lives of Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes.
The official plot preview for tonight’s all new episode, titled “Producer's Backend,” reads:
“A starlet tries to use her charms to get out of an arrest, but Amaro proves unflappable, earning him a spot back on the SVU squad. The same starlet is later charged with statutory rape, prompting a curious Benson to investigate the actress's own past.”
Recently it was announced tha Law & Order: SVU, will be crossing over with Chicago P.D., and the cast of Chicago Fire for a special three show, two night event, starting on Tuesday, Nov 12.
The creator of all three shows, Dick Wolf, spoke about the crossover in a statment to the press, reading (via E! News)
"Warren Leight (SVU showrunner) and Matt Olmstead (Chicago Fire/Chicago PD showrunner) are two of the best writers in the business. We wanted to figure out a way to create a crime that connects all three shows. Warren, Matt and I came up with a story that was big and unique enough to transit to all three."
Tune into the all new episode of Law & Order: SVU tonight at 9:00 p.m. on NBC.
