In keeping up to date with anything Bob Dylan, Philadelphia rockers The War on Drugs have added a new tune to their set-list and it is none other than Blood on the Tracks opener "Tangled Up in Blue."
Of course, that is not the only thing to pop up about The War on Drugs. As it has been ongoing and the Internet world is aware of, Mark Kozelek and Drugs have had some tight words for one another lately.
The band had apparently bogarted on Sun Kil Moon's vibe at the Ottawa Folk Fest back in mid-September. Kozelek, of Sun Kil Moon, tried to be endearing and have some fun on stage at their expense, but it quickly escalated to something else.
Long story short, Kozelek released a slam-song about the band's apparent lack of humor. Who's right?
Who cares?
Catching a break from the bickering, The War on Drugs have taken a choice song from the Dylan canon and rebranded it for their tour, which is supporting their latest LP Lost in the Dream.
The cover is not half bad and is probably a solid addition to their touring set list. Catch them on tour while you can and, for that matter, also check out Kozelek in November.
Until then, here is the Tambourine Man's classic heart-break crooner reappropriated:
