Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles’ hit CW series, Supernatural kicks is tenth season this Tuesday night. However, before Sam and Demon Dean square off, you can catch up on the last 9 years, tonight, in an all new retrospective special.
The preview for the tonight’s retrospective, titled “A Very Special Supernatural Special,” reads:
“Highlights from the show's first nine seasons. Includes interviews with Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins and Mark Sheppard, who share their favorite memories, monsters, angels and demons from the show. Also: a preview of Season 10.”
Earlier in the year, Supernatural star Jared Padalecki opened up to Zap2it about the tone of the new season:
“The tone of the Season 10 premiere, we definitely hit the ground running. We'll see Sam already several months into his search for his brother. It starts out very action-y. Sam will not accept 'no' for an answer in figuring out what happened to his brother. It will kind of be like the first couple of seasons, with Sam acting as a fed or a police officer, a doctor or dentist or whatever, to try to almost solve a case. It's a missing person thing. So the energy of the season premiere is very high-paced, more of a thriller, action, than emotional.”
Be sure to check out the all new Supernatural retrospective at 9:00 p.m. eastern, ahead of tomorrow night’s all new Season 10 premiere.
The official plot synopsis for the all new episode, titled “Black,” reads:
“Season 10 begins with Dean enjoying life as a demon and carousing with Crowley. Meanwhile, Sam tries to figure out what happened to his brother; and Castiel deals with his diminishing grace.”
