A new classical music album recorded live at Wigmore Hall by a renown violinist Maxim Vengerov joined by recital partner Itamar Golan has been released. The new record features works from Bach and Beethoven.
Maxim Vengerov had his first debut at the age of five followed by a successful career as musician as well as highly esteemed and internationally celebrated teacher and conductor.
The album was recorded when Vengerov returned to Wigmore Hall in April of 2012 to perform one of the great landmarks of London concert season. Vengerov opened a sold-out concert with Johann Sebastian Bach's Partita No. 2 in D minor.
The second part of the concert features Vengerov joined by a recital partner and pianist Itamar Golan to deliver a fiery performance of Ludwig van Beethoven's Violin Sonata No. 9 'Kreutzer.'
The blazing passion concert was concluded with two encores, Henryk Wieniawski's Scherzo-Tarantelle, and Johannes Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 1 in G minor.
Live recorded masterwork of both Vengerov and Golan was captured and is now available for sale.
